Jean Bieri (1955-2021)

We were saddened by the sudden death (September) of our Biblical Studies Professor.  Jean  taught from 2005 to 2021 and served as Academic Dean from 2006 to 2011. He was part of the training of almost every undergraduate  ETEQ student. He was also involved with students in South Africa, Russia, Armenia, France and India.  He held a Ph.D in Theoretical and Experiential Physics and was just days from defending his Ph.D  (Theology) thesis on Daniel chapter 7 at L’Université de Genève.  Jean will be remembered for his commitment to the Mennonite Brethren Church Family in Quebec.  The end of his earthly mission leaves a huge void among family, friends, ETEQ and the Francophone Theological world.
