...within the larger Protestant Evangelical family
ETEQ finds its place in the mission that Christ entrusted to his Apostles to "make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19). The school does its part by preparing thinkers, preachers and practitioners. In fact, we prepare all kinds of workers to serve in a Church that can influence the nations and their society to receive the Kingdom of God, both on an individual personal basis as well as on a community-level.
ETEQ offers University-level, Theological training (undergraduate, Masters) for the larger Evangelical family as can be seen by both our student body and our Faculty. Our teachers have a choice of Statements of Faith to sign on to. However, two Church families fully undergird and sacrificially support the School and for that commitment we are deeply grateful to The Christian and Missionary Alliance and the Mennonite Brethren. Their logos below will direct you to their websites. We are witnesses to the presence and work of the Holy Spirit in both these Church families, as well as beyond. In fact, we are in awe at what God is accomplishing within the various Evangelical traditions found in Quebec.
Ultimately, it is in response to Jesus' request that ETEQ prays "the Lord of the harvest, to send out workers into his harvest field" (Matthew 9 :38), all kinds of workers that are called, prepared and equipped to serve with knowledge, discernment and humility.
