You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

What a calling we have received from Jesus!  To LIGHT UP the world in such a way that our communities are informed of our deeds, are impacted (blessed) by our works and are so influenced by our generosity that they will  consider the source of all of this,  God the Father, and finally join us in glorifying Him.  Because such is the call of discipleship, ETEQ cannot aim at anything less.  We prepare leaders who are themselves able to be light (effective holiness) but are also able to inspire others to be likewise (efficient holiness).  ETEQ achieves this mission by combining academic, spiritual and missional  ingredients within a learning community that is attractive and affirming of individual vocation.    

Pray for us as our numbers have just increased much more than ever before : 69 to 100 students, overnight. Our Master’s program is growing by «leaps».  Our brand new English Minor is already off to a great start and we believe will grow by «bounds».  Our regular french-language undergraduate programs are taking off, again.  It is overwhelming to be entrusted with so many students, but it is such an honor to serve our God in this way, at this time, in this part of our country.  Professors, support personnel and students are well aware of the investment that comes from all across Canada for this work in Quebec.  This work is yours and ours but especially God’s.  We so much want our light to point people to Him whom we glorify.
